Tropical Storm "ONDOY"
made it to the Phils.
Sigh. The rain was soooo devastating! :| Parang wala na syang balak na huminto. I went to school this morning since may Saturday classes ako & I have to attend my Chemistry Lab session, sayang din ang points kung sakaling mag-experiment sa class. I left home 7am, later kesa sa normal kong pasok, I knew then na baka masuspend din ang class kasi lunch time daw dadaan ang bagyo dito sa Metro. When I got to school, wala daw kaming class kasi Med.Tech Week nga. So okay lang, hindi pa umuulan, kulimlim pa lang. My friends and I decided to stay and watch the ball game ng freshies vs. juniors. When we we're in the gym, lumakas na yung ulan. So we all agreed to go home ng mga 9:00 para magpatila ng ulan. Sadly, hindi siya tumila. :D We stayed till 9:30am until we decided to go home kahit na malakas yung ulan. When we got out sa entrance ng campus, baha na. :| Okay. Kaya pa naman. Kaya lang sa kalagitnaan ng E.Rodriguez Ave., mataas na ang baha talaga. Luckily, yung jeepney na sinasakyan ko kinaya pa niyang tawirin yung baha kahit pinasok na yung loob ng jeep. :) Yipee. Actually, yung jeep na lang namin yung nag-decide to cross then the rest na-stranded na kasi titirik na sila kung itutuloy pa nila.
10am -- I made it in Gateway, Cubao. YEY! :))
I texted my mom to fetch me kasi nga super lakas ng ulan. Then she told me to wait. So I did. 10:30. 11:00. 11:30. 12:00 -- Finally, mom came. She's with dad. I was sitting sa stairs near McDo. well, I'm sooo tired && sleepy, I nearly fell asleep while sitting sa stairs. Haha. XD I even texted my classmates to go there para may company naman ako. But they we're stranded sa E.Rod. Haha. :)) I got so hungry while waiting so we ate at Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Haha. YUMMM. :D:D Kami lang customer & the waiter said na isasara na lang daw nila since nagsara na din yung mga department stores dahil pinasok na sila ng baha. Haha. :)) Really, this rain is seriously huge na magsasara na ang mga mall dahil sa baha. Haha. :))
After eating, we headed home. WALANG JEEP! All of the vehicles were along the road pero naka-tirik. Haha. :)) First time, I saw P.Tuazon Blvd without PUVs/PUJs along it. Haha. :)) There were buses, pero duh, they're buses naman so they made it across the effin' flood. Haha. :) So we paid 100php sa tricycle just to drive us from Ali Mall to Kalantiaw, 20th Ave. We walked along J.P. Rizal St. with the other passengers kasi hindi na dumadaan yung mga jeep samin. Hindi na sila pumasada kasi DUH, baha naman. Titirik lang sila. :)) I enjoyed the flood sooo much. Haha. XD Yeah I know it's selfish of me, kaya lang kasi, noon lang ako nakakita ng baha samin. Haha. :D Actually, ngayon lang binaha itong street namin, at hanggang tuhod pa! :)) I got scared kasi muntik na kong matangay ng current ng flood. Anlakas kasi ng impact dun sa isang part towards the creek, kung natangay ako nun, I might be dead by now. Haha. :D Impossible na kasing mahatak nila ko. Haha. :D Good God, may mga tumutulong naman sa mga nagc-cross na taga-doon. So safe naman ng konti.
AT LAST ! :DD WE REACHED HOME. :)
I prayed. So I made it safely here.
And my classmates? They're still stuck there at Gateway. I dunno what time they got home.
Nawalan na ko ng signal so I didn't have a chance to check on them na. UNTIL NOW! :( Grr. I can't text tuloy, sayang unli. Tapos, meron pa palang mga chorale and varsity players sa HS, hindi na sila umuwi. Dun na lang sila mag-sleep kesa nga naman lumangoy sila sa baha. :D Haha. Some teachers were with them so they're safe naman. E.ROD, Araneta Ave. is, asusual, flooded. As in FLOOD. Like The Great Flood. Haha, :)) And so as to Marikina, Pasig and other parts of Metro Manila.

My mom turned the radio on, and alot of announcements were being broadcasted at the AM.
Humihingi ng tulong because nasa bubong na daw sila and the water is still rising.
Some were missing, most are stranded. :|
I hope all of them made it safely home by now. Kasi it's very late na. And it was announced that the MRT & LRT stations will be open overnight. That good. Atleast, makakatulong sa stranded passengers. The military and QCPDs were also helping. :) Yey. And according to PAGASA, Tropical Storm Ondoy will be leaving by tomorrow or maybe later by midnight. The rain is equivalent to the amount of rain suppose to be hitting Metro Manila for 1 Month. Ang Bagyong Ondoy? Inulan niya lang ang isang buwan sa isang araw, that's how massive the rain is.:) Mabuti na lang, it's Saturday at umaga nag-start. That's something we're thankful for. Well anyway, Kayang kaya ng Pinoy yan. Haha. :)) We'll all be okay. It won't take long. AJA! :O
So that's it, my FIRST TIMEs.:D I miss walking in the flood. Haha. LOL ~ ;)
